Terrible mom?

Question

I have a two year old and work 50 hours a week(swing shift as well) I don't ever see my sons father/husband as he works a ton. My son plays on his own pretty well but also loves watching YouTube videos of trucks, tractors, trains.... Learning videos :) Hea a very smart boy, can't count and knows his colors and talks a ton. I am so caught up in making sure the cleaning in done, laundry, and dogs are kept care of that I feel I don't make enough time for my son. Like I said, he plays on his own and is fine with it. Am I over reacting? Is this ok? *i don't completely Ignore him, we read books when I have time, play with puzzles and his train set. I just feel like I don't interact with him enough.

You are definitely not a terrible mom, you are doing everything you can to provide for your little boy. Some mothers don't ever cook or clean and STILL don't have/make time for their children. You're doing great. If you're feeling the way you do, maybe put off laundry for an hour or two, or make an easy meal that night. Sometimes those things can wait when it comes to spending time with your children. :)

It doesn't make you a bad mom You are trying to provide for him. 
But I will say, if you aren't happy, you should try to change it. Because you will regret it. :-( 
I did the same thing for many many years. I was finally able to quit my job and stay at home with my kids. But that's not necessarily the right thing to do. Maybe look for a different job? 
Good luck, you will make the right choice, and please don't feel bad because you are working to give your child the best life you can.

It's good for children to play indecently but it's also important for bonding time, your doing both, my little boy is 20 months and if I try and play with him he throws a tantrum 😂 so I let him play by himself then if he wants something to do with me he'll bring it to me and say mamma and point to it so I now he wants me to interact :) he's 4 months ahead of where he should be so I don't see a problem letting them play independently. My health visitor came to see him the other day and said she's really really impressed with what he's doing for his age, most of the stuff he's been doing for months he shouldn't be doing till he's 2 years old! 
Don't worry :) being a mum is hard, but the most important thing is he knows how to play independently but also likes one on one time too, don't worry :)
