TTC after Miscarriage

Hello loves! !

I recently miscarried at 9 weeks on New Year's eve. We had to do a D&C and as you could imagine, hubby and I were completely devastated. I've already had my follow up appointment with my OB and he advised that we wait a couple months before trying again. I know each person is different, I just wanted to hear from mommies/mommies to be who have experienced this. How long did it take to conceive after miscarriage? Did your OB advise of a longer/shorter waiting period?I wanna hear it all!! And here's my angel. (Mikah James) TIA!!
