He took me ring shopping...Need advice!!!

Okay ladies... I need y'alls advice!! Lol! Over the weekend my boyfriend and I did our Valentines date because there is a chance he may get sent out of town this week for work. So before we left I was asking him what he would like to do and hinting at maybe going to the jewelry store to look at promise rings. (I've been talking about them for a while). I know that engagement is is probably out of the question for another year or so (or so I thought) because I am about to start my senior year of college and he really wants to be done with school when he asks me. So we get to the jewelry store and he starts looking at ENGAGEMENT rings! In my mind I'm freaking out and wondering what that means! So we look around and I try several on and I finally find the style that I love... And he took several pictures of it "just so he remembers" is what he told me. When we got home I was asking him ya know, why all of a sudden we were looking at engagement rings! Lol. He said "I don't know when the question is coming...could be in two months or could be in the next couple of years" What do y'all think? Could he be thinking of popping the question??? Does anyone else have an experience like this? I'd love for some stories or some advice. Trying not to get too excited lol.
