False-positive tests?

Has anyone ever taken a test and it's been positive, but ended up being a miss read? 
I took one last night and it's looking pretty damn positive! Not sure how I'm feeling about this....

I just took one and it says I'm pregnant, I'm gong to the doctors to double check as my partner and I aren't ready

It came up positive within about 5 seconds. I just posted the picture the next day. I have taken 3 more since and all are positive...

I have after i lost my 2nd pregnancy bc i still had hcg hormones in my system

I used to work at a medical center and we once had an entire batch of false negatives so you're best having a blood test done, those are much more accurate

I would take another test, and then head to the doctor!

If it came up positive right away, you're almost definitely pregnant. If it only showed that today, then it's not valid.
