Six week scan- what to expect?

I have an appointment for an early US at my 6 week appointment. I will be exactly 6 weeks that day. I'm wondering how many of you have had them and what to expect? I've been told we may not see much but I've also been told we may see baby and the Heat beat. Just trying to get a realistic expectation so I'm not let down. What have you guys experienced?

I just went today and thought I was 10 weeks along. Actually 5 w 6 d. We saw the baby and the yolk sac. We could see the heart beat, but it was too early to hear it.

We just saw the yolk sac at 6 weeks. Going back next week at 8 weeks to see baby.

I went at 6 weeks and saw yolk sac. I'm going back on Monday( I'll be 8 weeks then) dr said will be able to see baby then.

I did mine today! I saw the yolk sac, fetal heart beat and we heard the heart beat as well!

Thanks everyone! My appointment is a week away but I'm so anxious to go and see baby! 
Hopefully I'll be lucky like most of you and see the baby and maybe see and its heartbeat.

I just went today, expecting to be 7 weeks. Turned out I am only 6 weeks 3 days. However, we got to see sack, and baby. And we could see the heartbeat, but you had to pay close attention. Good luck :)

I'm nervous too even though it's my 3 pregnancy I have and us tkmorrow and I'll be 6 weeks I don't know what to expect I can't remember with my other two pregnancies.
