Serious question.

So I have this crush. And just found out he has herpes. I've read online about it but I'd like answers from anyone who has had a potential partner with it. How did you feel about it in the long run?  Like I really don't want to get it myself I've always been very careful about staying clean. But what if he's the one I want to stay within the end?  What does it mean for having kids?
