Brother and Drugs
My younger brother just turned 17 in October. Previously, he had told me that he had been smoking pot. Fine, whatever. Most kids try pot and it's harmless enough. Tonight, he told me he had tried acid and "Magic Mushrooms." He then asked my opinion on these drugs and others including morphine and cough syrup. I told him he shouldn't go there and they shouldn't be messed with. He refused to listen to anything I had to say because they "aren't that bad unless you are stupid." My SO's brother died back in August from an overdose and I'm not sure if I am being hyper sensitive. Have any of you been in a similar situation? What should I do?
