Painful periods

I've never really had painful periods before, but My mom and sister do. My mom's side of the family does have a history of endometriosis. I was off of birth Control for a while and my periods started to get worse so I decided to get back on birth control. I've been on apri for almost a year and for the last 4 months or so my periods have gotten worse, to the point of me doubling over in pain. I was just thinking that it didn't kick in yet bit now I'm thinking it's something else. I'm scared the doctor will tell me I have endometriosis so bad I can't have kids like my aunt. Any suggestions?
