when do u start gettin them ? i just entered my 2nd trimester an really nervous i keep hearing about these fake contractions.. are they really painful? how long do they last?

I just had my 1st ones! I'm 16w2d! They did not feel good and lasted for about 6 minutes! I was on the phone with my sister who is 11 weeks pregnant also and was freaking out! Told her to get ready!!!😁

I had one at my 15 week ultrasound & didn't even know, the tech told me. Braxton Hicks are just tightening, not painful!

With my first they started at 30weeks, mainly if I walked long distances they would start up, wouldnt last long, less than a minute but they made me sit down and have to breathe through them. Definitely not as bad as contractions!

You get them earlier with each pregnancy too. With my first they started at 25 weeks. Second they started around 18. And now at 14 weeks I have had a couple. They shouldn't be painful at all. Just a tightening of your uterus. If you are in pain see your doc!

does it feel like a side cramp ? i been having like weird pain that last few seconds if i move a certain way i thought it was ligament pain could that be bh?

It was very very similar to a contraction. I wasn't sure you could get them so early but apparently you can....
