I have been in a relationship with my husband for four years before we got married. I just realized he has still been keeping contacts with his ex. Recently, I discovered he bought her a phone and sent her 500 dollars. I confronted him about it and he said he was just helping her out. My question is can he still be having feelings for her? If so, why then did he proposed and got married to me?

Also, he always gets angry when I bring the topic of his ex. And tells me that I make him miserable in this marriage.

I do not know what to do. I will highly appreciate your comments

He sounds a little defensive to me. He should be discussing with you before he sends her or anyone else money or expensive gifta. There are a thousand things that could be happening and he may or may not be innocent. Go with your gut and don't let him make you feel like you're taking crazy pills foe being suspicious. ANYONE would be at least a little. Also, no matter what is happening, he really shouldnt be telling you that you're making him miserable your marriage. That's just shitty. Sure, he might be frustrated by your jealousy, but come on man, I don't know any wife that wouldn't be at least a little weirded out. Him trying to make it seem like you're unreasonable for your reaction is what I think throws up the red flag.

I try to look at all scenarios she may be blackmailing him, he might still have feelings, he could be genuinely helping her in a crisis but he should definitely speak about it, if there is nothing to hide why get angry it would be better if he spoke up about it, instead of acting like its a secret.
