Home birth illegal

Nebraska does not allow home births and I was debating that, I feel completely jipped. I'm not sure if I want hospital intervention or not. There's only one birth center here and I'm not sure if my insurance will cover them or not. My coworker mentioned hypno birthing and just having a one page birth plan for them to follow. Anyone from Nebraska (or Alabama, only two states where they're illegal) have any info on what you did or solutions you found that were doable? I'm right by Iowa but I don't reside in Iowa, part of me is debating finding a place to rent there so I can have my baby how I want.
