Sinus infections?!

Question

Have any mommies out there had a sinus infection while pregnant? I'm 17 weeks along and am limited to certain medications (obviously), well none of the antibiotics are helping so my doctor says that it's viral, which means I have to just let it run its own course. Anybody know how long it takes to let these run its own course? I'm taking Tylenol and Sudafed but it still sucks and is painful :(

I had a viral upper respiratory infection 3 weeks ago, just started getting better, then a spring sinus infection hit! Tylenol didn't do anything or generic claritan! Nasal spray saved my butt (that's the only thing that helped at all!)

I'm going through one right now. Not using any decongestants, sleeping is hell. Try boiling camomile tea in a large saucepan and do inhalations with towel over your head. Use humidifier at night. It will probably take couple days to a week to go away. Try not using Sudafed for too long since you can get used to it and it will lose effect.  I'm on day three now and it's getting better.  Hope this helps!

Mine has gone on for three weeks. I can never breath and have forgotten what my natural voice sounds like. I use one spray of nose spray in each nostril twice a day. The doc says it's safe but I am a minimalist. I took Benadryl once, also safe, it did nothing. I always have the humidifier on and that helps. Plus a warm bath is always nice. I feel you girl!! It's no fun. And it just plain sucks!

I opt out of taking any meds, but after 13 weeks I'm finally getting better. My Dr told me to stay home with all the windows closed and wear a mask if I did have to leave the house (allergies/sinus)
