Positives and then negatives? Please help

So I took every test brand I could get the other night after work and they were ALL faint positives. I took a first response the very next morning and again a faint positive, but stronger than the night before. . But now any I've taken have been negative. Any idea? Could it just be hormones acting crazy? I'm so confused :/
