What is your ideal method of birth?

I just wanted to know what other women think and feel about this subject

Personaly I had an epidural with my first daughter simply because I was induced. I hated it, how it made me feel. But with my second daughter I went all natural! And it was wonderful! I felt like a true mother goddess strong and powerful and full of energy. Now my New little girl is 3 months old and I will always always always choose natural birth for myself.

I'm having a natural home birth with my midwife. 
Pricey but worth it to be in control of my body, baby, and comfortable.

All natural, med free water birth in birthing center with midwife. I did the hospital birth, no meds, but I hated doctors and nurses checking me all the time and telling me what to do, how and when. My other births were natural water births. Love it!! Will do it again when we conceive. Tww starts today!

I would like all natural but I had surgery for detached retina x2 and they feel the pushing/pressure that builds in my face may do damage to my eyes as raised pressure can cause the retina to detach again. Of course this isn't common but my midwife feels an epidural and ventouse would be better. I feel correct pushing would ensure no problems but as this is my first baby I don't know what to expect. Would like to at least try thou.

I wish my insurance covered home births! But I got myself a great midwife and she's all for natural birth but it'll be in a hospital setting. She even has a water tub I can labor in. I'm very excited!! Watching "the business of being born" got me SO STOKED to give birth!!

Ideally, I'd love to have an at home water birth. There aren't midwives in my county though 😭

I was induced at almost 42 weeks with my first and had an epidural.  I slept through the night, except for checks, and delivered with only 4 pushes.  With my son I went into labor naturally and requested that me.epidural bot be as strong which ended up with my right side feeling everything.  He was delivered in 5 pushes.  Both deliveries I was given pitocin....and my water was broken for me.

With this little girl we went the midwife birthing center way and will be laboring in a tub and going all natural.  Our group.of midwives are great and the center is in our hospital in case an emergency arises.

Had an emergency c section with my first and having a planned c section with this one. Not ideal but the safest option for me and baby.
