Anyone taken Spironolactone?

My dermatologist prescribed Spironolactone back in January for treatment of acne. I started out taking 50mg, then about 1.5 months ago she bumped me up to 75mg because I was at a plateau with improvement in my skin. I've NEVER had issues with my period being late before- maybe a 3-4 day variance depending on the month. This month AF is currently 9 days late. I searched Google and found that some women taking the medication had irregular cycles due to the disruption of hormones. However I swore I was having symptoms of pregnancy... I stopped taking the medication as soon as I realized my period was late and I wasn't feeling well. I took a test and it was negative but I still won't feel better until I actually get AF. Has anyone else heard of this problem?? I don't know if I should call my dermatologist, my family doctor, or go see a gynecologist or just wait it out!! I have been having sooo much stress because I'm not ready for children yet! Any advice would be great thank you!!
