Husband inviting a female friend over for dinner without asking
My husband had this female friend for a few years before we started dating. He knows that I don't really get along with her, and because they are both so busy they kinda slowly drifted apart. The last time we saw each other was almost 1.5-2 years ago.
Two weeks ago she was in the area and stopped by our house. Both my husband & me chatted with her for an hour. To me it felt really forced and I personally feel that we still have nothing in common/to talk about. Then as she leaves we said "Yeah we should get together sometime".
Fast forward to tonight, I found out husband invited her over for dinner without telling me. They already decided on the food and date etc.
I feel uneasy and think he should have at least ask me before setting a date. His reasoning was "when she was here you said it was okay for us to get together" but to me those were just courtesies instead of an actual invitation.
Am I over-reacting/being unreasonable? Any advice on what I should do?
