Anyone in Dallas?

I have lived here 2 years now and it's still not feeling like home. I find a lot of people I meet seem super pretentious, and so many strong attitudes and personalities. Also, the 2 jobs I've worked at seemed very lacking in work ethic. Maybe I just haven't been around long enough?

I moved to Dallas near Addison in March from Austin. I feel like the people here are friendlier. I can't go to the store without being stopped to have a nice chat with some random stranger. People in Austin seemed to keep to themselves more. I've also noticed that the parks are super clean! I was always picking up trash in Austin and it was very frustrating. Here I can't find litter if I try. 😁 I hope you run into some friendlier people!

I just moved to Fort Worth last July, my husbands in the Navy.  So I'm kind of close. Lol
