Seriously?

I've already seen 4 posts because women felt they should be pampered today and haven't been getting it. I understand it's Mothers Day, but still, you can get up and do things yourself.

I made my own birthday cake two days ago and had to go to work. I cleaned my house, did laundry, and all that adult stuff.

No matter what the day, you don't HAVE to be pampered. It's nice to be, but it's not a requirement and you shouldn't be upset about it. Especially if you didn't tell your husband what you wanted. Men aren't mind readers.
