Broken heart

My boyfriend well ex boyfriend broke up with me a week ago.... I'm so heart broken because I was completely blindesided by this. He tells me he still loves me and that he doesn't want me out of his life completely. But I can't be friends with someone who did this to me! We were inseparable. So now I'm taking this really hard! We play coed softball on Thursday nights and even during the weekends. Any suggestions on how I should act around him.. Or how to avoid him without being a bitch?
