Oral sex

When my husband performs oral sex on me I notice that his face and breath smell like I do when I am sweaty, ie after a workout ect. Is this a normal smell? It makes me feel self conscience. He says it doesn't taste bad but I still worry. (I shower before every occurrence). Is there something wrong with me or is it just a natural release?
