Anyone who has worked

In a gas station, convenient store, or truck stop has probably had to say these at least once.

"The prices are high because this is a convenient store. Meaning it's convenient for you to not have to run all the way to Walmart. Not convenient for your money"

"No, I can't mark the price down for you"

"Yes, I'm sure there isn't any the back"

"I'm sorry, but when you pay at the pump with your card, the bank usually holds a fee off until it goes through. It will go back on your card. No, I cannot reimburse it from the register. Let this be your lesson"

"Your card was declined" at which point you hear a story about how it just had 30 dollars on it. "I'll try it again... It was still declined"

"Do you have a receipt? Then I can't exchange it."

I mean, I love my job, but sometimes I just want to vent, like now lol I have to say many of these daily.
