L&d visit

Went to l&d due to decreased fetal movement, excessive vaginal discharge and light bleeding. Turns out baby just wasn't as playful today but I do have a uti and am having contractions 10 minutes apart that last anywhere from 45-70 seconds.

I was discharged with medication for uti and instructions on monitoring contractions. I was told 6 or more in an hour that lasted longer than 60 seconds, that I needed to go back out. I downloaded an app to keep track and in an hour I've had 7 ranging from 7-13 minutes apart and all over 60 seconds.

I'm going to keep an eye on it tonight and tomorrow but what do you ladies think? They said a uti can cause preterm labor. Do you think that could be what happening because I also have gestational diabetes and on medication which also increases chances of preterm labor. I'm only 31 weeks 2 days.
