Question! !!!!!!!!!!!

I have an .???? Why do i have to meet with the doctor thats inducing me if my midwife already told me that he agreed to induce me and gave me ny set date of may 31st ive never been through this if anybody else has gone through this process could you share your experience and what did you all go over because this mama right here is in total confusing now thanks in advance
