Protein in Urine

Has anyone had protein in their urine and it didn't turn out to be preeclampsia? My Doctor is having me collect 24 hours worth of urine, but not starting until Monday due to the Holiday weekend. I'm just freaking out a little bit. My pregnancy has been a Rollercoaster already. I've lost over 20 pounds since finding out, had gallbladder surgery, and I'm just trying to keep my fingers crossed for a smooth pregnancy.
