why is he being so childish?

my boyfriend and I got into a fight, particularly ending with... I dont want to be around a person like you. So I'm like, okay whatever. so im upstairs and hes in the kitchen "talking" on the phone. Except his phone is broken and he can only talk through speaker phone, so while he is giggling away... he's fumbling to untie his headphones that are in his hands.... not even connected to his phone 😂 So pretty much he is talking to no one. what I over heard so far was "HEY baaaabe," thats what caught my attention cause I thought he was talking to me. then he continues," oh im home alone fixing my drone... OH you wanna come over? my moms gone for the next 5 days *giggles* haha okay, text me" except he doesnt have a car... lol so why is he trying to do this? just to make me jealous? its just making him look dumb.
