Will you be giving your NB+ water??

Question

Over the years I've read and heard different views on whether you should give NewBorns water or not. Rules amd regulations change so much it's hard to keep up.. what's your opinion and thoughts (No judging or nasty comments please)

No. Infants younger than 6 months do not need water. They get all of their hydration from breast milk or formula. Adding water on to of that risks water intoxication. Just feed them normally.

I just gave my lil guy his first taste of water today. He's 3.5 months old. He's always watching me eat and drink and since he can't eat I figured I'd let him taste my water. Just two capfuls but he loved it and was happy to share something with me :)

I did not offer any until he started solids at 6 months.
