Infant car seat

I'm looking at getting a baby trend car seat becaus I've heard a lot of really good things on them. However I can not seem to find it on google so I'll ask on here. My husbands truck isn't equipped with a latch system so any parents on here have this car seat? Can you Install the base with the seat belt in the car instead of using the latch system? Thanks in adance ❤️
