Membrane just stripped what to expect?

Im 38+6 and my Mid wife offered to do a MS today as the baby is big and im only 4"11 so I said yes because im so ready for this baby to come out! any ways that was at 11am today I have a high tolerance to pain so I cant tell if the stomach ace im having are contractions im also bleeding but im pretty sure thats a side effect of the procedure . My question is how soon after the procedure did any mamas on here go into labor.

I am on my 6th baby and have had my membranes stripped several times, I have been lucky enough to go into labor later that day or night. I would suggest sex and walking as well to help speed up the process. With my youngest daughter I had my membranes stripped that morining, went out and ate lunch came home and has sex only to have my water break right after. Good luck ladies, and sorry if that was TMI.

I had mine done this morning and was wondering the same thing they told me some spotting was normal and some cramping was too

My doctor did mine about about 9 or 10 that morning told me and my husband to go home have sex and if that didn't kick it in gear then to walk, we were able to have about 10 minutes of sex before having to get back to hospital quick!!!
