What did you pack in your hospital bag?

Hello! I'm 37+4 and this is my first baby. I wanted to know what some of the things that are essential in a baby bag are :)

For the baby's bag, not mine, I packed her going home outfit, two onesies both newborn, some scratch mittens, two hats, socks, a pacifier and a going home blanket. They provide the swaddle blankets, diapers, wipes, etc, all you need for baby are clothes you may want to have them in.

My hospital provides pretty much everything so I am only taking bathroom necessities, a nursing pillow, robe, nursing bras and tanks, one pair of pajamas, my husband one change of comfortable clothes (we love very close so he plans on going home to shower), and a few cute outfits for our baby girl.

If you have someone staying with you, pack plenty of small bills for vending machine and cafeteria meals.

A nice baby blanket to take pictures on. A lot of hospitals will have a professional photographer take pictures for you to buy from their website. We loved ours !
