Help!

So I know I'm having my "bloody show" but how much is too much? Is there such thing as too much? It's literally covering the entire piece of toilet paper when I wipe, along with some cramping and back pain. I saw my doctor today and she checked my cervix and told me I would spot because there was some blood on her glove, but I've been losing my mucus plug for a week now and this definitely apart of it with some spotting. I called the doctor on call at the hospital and I just feel like she's not taking me seriously.
