9 month old Question food

So my son is 9 months and his doctor doesn't want him on baby food anymore but I don't know how to get him to eat table food. I give it to him but he spit it right out and refuse to eat it. I have try meatballs, chicken, banana, egg, bread. He will eat the teething biscuit but that's it. Everything Else is a struggle to get him to eat it. I know he need to get use to the texture but how do I get him to eat?
