Taking baby to the beach?

So my family and I are getting ready to go to the beach. My LO is gonna be 6 months old by then.. I was wondering how people survive the beach with a LO.. I know plenty of sunscreen.. Shady area... Etc... But any other useful tips and advice? ☺️

My baby is 3.5 months old and we go to the beach 2-3 days a week and he loves it. I have a SportBrella which is great to block wind and sun. No sunscreen, just keep him in the shade most of the time. All I bring for him is diaper bag and our woven wrap which I carry him in when we take walks. He nurses and naps and he loves the fresh air. At 6 months you may want to bring a blow up baby pool and full it with water where baby can play. Hope you have fun!
