IUGR with a low PAPP-A? Was your baby born early & could you breastfeed??

Ashley
So I'm 33 weeks with my second & my baby is only 3 pounds 12 oz. I had a low PAPP-A result during my first trimester screen & they said it could indicate trisomy, preeclampsia, or IUGR— so we've been doing monthly ultrasounds to measure my girl's growth. No preeclampsia & we have a low risk of trisomy (confirmed via panorama test), but we learned yesterday that she went from the 33rd percentile last month to the 17th. They think the placenta isn't feeding her properly... So they may want to take her out early. While I was hoping for VBAC, it doesn't look like that'll happen—and she'd be premature & very small. Even if he grows as she should (I.e., a pound each month), she'd probably be less than 5 pounds. My main concern is breastfeeding—it was so invaluable with my first (who was full term but failed to progress) for so many reasons. Any moms out there have a similar problem & if so, did you successfully breastfeed? I'm really hoping I'll be able to. 😕
