Ahhh trying to stop breastfeeding!!!

So my daughter is 4 months old and I wanted to continue breastfeeding at least until 6 months but we're TTC and also I'm planning to get on a new medication for anxiety that wouldn't be good for her. I went like 48+hours without feeding and I was in sooo much pain. My right boob is the only one that works, I tried cold compress and expressing (but I totally suck at that). Finally I just gave in and let her feed...it hurt so bad. It felt like there were needles coming out of my nipple. I know going cold turkey isn't recommended but I only breastfeed her 3 times a day already so I thought I would be able to. Please help meeee!!!
