Crib in our room or his own room

So, I have a delemia. We set up a crib for our son in his own room, it's on the other side of the living room, but the further along I get (I'm 21 weeks) the more I think about moving his crib in the bedroom and switching my wife sides of the bed... but i dont know if that's a good idea. I'll be working from 1:45Am to 6 or 7 Am, starting this week. I can take him with me but with me working these hours and my wife working from 9:30AM to 7:30 PM, I don't know if him having a crib in the room is a good idea cause ill never get any sleep.
