Need help making adult decisions.

Guys, I need help. I don't know what to do. Please comment with advice or encouragement.
I'm 21 years old. I went to a university for a year before I decided that's not what I wanted to do, I found it ridiculous to invest in a degree I would never use.
Now nearly 3 years later I have found my calling. I want to be a midwife (CPM). I've been accepted into midwifery school and I'm set to start next month.
It's all happened so fast, I wasn't even accepted until late last month so I'm still stuck financially. My parents and I have been looking at taking out a loan, but my bank won't give me a loan (because my school is a 3 year certificate program, not a 4 year degree program), and I qualify for ZERO financial aid from the government because my parents make too much money. I can, however, potentially take out a loan from another bank, but we're not sure yet.
Even if we can take out a loan, we'll be in about $75,000 worth of debt. Is this worth it?? Does it make more sense for me to wait 3 years so I can save up a butt load of money and also qualify as an independent to receive financial aid (you have to be 24 to be independent of your parents)?
I dont want to go this far into debt, but I desperately want to become a midwife in the near future.
