Not pregnancy related

Hi ladies! Have any of you had an ovarian cyst removed or maybe a family member? My mom is having surgery to get a cyst removed from her ovary and possibly the ovary too and as the surgery day is approaching i am getting a lil nervous! I think the worst part is knowing they do pathology tests on everything they remove nd the waiting after sucks!! I am praying for the best. Shes had this cyst for a few years nd just went on reg follow ups dr appears to think everything is ok but u always wonder. If anyone has anything to share please do so :)
