Clarification?
Hey ladies! I know rape is a controversial topic; especially due to the fact that there are a few things that are in the blurred lines of the definition of rape. By definition rape is "unlawful sexual intercourse or any other sexual penetration of the vagina, anus,or mouth of another person, with or without force, by a sex organ, otherbody part, or foreign object, without the consent of the victim." My close friend went to the movies with her boyfriend (at the time) about a year ago and her boyfriend fingered her without her consent. She told him to stop multiple times, saying that it hurt, but he kept going, even using more fingers. She told me of this recently and I was absolutely speechless. This even has caused lowered self esteem, trust issues, and a fear of being sexually active altogether. So I guess my question for you ladies is, is that considered rape? By definition, it seems as though it fits, but it doesn't exactly fit what most people think of when they think "rape". What are your thoughts?
