Pull out method

Me and my boyfriend always use the pullout method. But before my last period I started to feel anxiety because I was a few days late and thought that precum could have got me pregnant. I've suggested before to use condoms but before he said that it doesn't feel the same and he can easily pull out so I said okay and left it at that . How should I tell him that I would prefer to use condoms?
