Bleeding & implant

Okay so I got the implant on jun 23 and I had already had my period for the month of June so everything was great then I started my period for July on the 11th and it was very light no cramps which was awesome cause my period last for 7 days filled with cramps & medium flow anyways by day 5 or 6 I start getting cramps off & on plus the  flow changed its not medium but it changed. So now I'm still bleeding it's been like two weeks. My mom said I should call the doctor so they can prescribe me something to make it stop. The question is should I wait it out or call the doctor? What is it they are going to prescribe?
