Help...?

So, I usually have a diareah problem or constipation problem and I take medicine all the time for it (liquid) I've never had an issue with taking it. But tonight I tried and couldn't swallow it.? I've never had an issue like that, what could cause me to feel like I can't take it? i feel sick or something .
