Really?!?! (Sorry long)
So my bf and I have a pool. Our best friends live across the street, we told me come over whenever if you want to get in. Saturday night he was in bed by 10,I was in by 11:30. I woke up around 2:30 read a text from my friend saying"we're going in the pool don't mind us" that was at 1:30, I knew she went to the bars earlier with people but I didn't know who. I fell right back asleep after reading it. My bf gets up for work right before 6, looked out the window seen our year was trashed. Beer cans, empty cases, clothes on the patio, by the pool, on the pool, in our dog kennel, the garage door and man door were open when he closed it that night. He woke me up pissed asked if I had people over, I said no (our friends) came over with whoever they were with to get in the pool. He said tell her to get the fuck over here and clean this shit up. So I texted her. Closed my eyes 3 mint yes later he comes back up yelling "Get her the fuck over here now! My fucking truck is gone!" Jumped up went to their apartment banging on their door calling both shaking were so pissed get no answer. Called the cops,while waiting I notice paper by car I pick it up seeing my report for my accident so I knew they got in my car to and my manual was on the other side. Cops get there they looked and said my glove box was wide open. I open the door everything in my glove box was on the floor,wet,my iPod was ripped from my center console breaking my cord. My friend called and said who the last person there was. It was my bfs other best friends brother. He was drinking literally all day, and taking medication he can't if he's drinking. So cops go to his house, find my bfs truck. It's not damaged he got it back an hour later after this happened. The guy didn't even know he did anything,doesn't remember a single thing. At first he didn't press charges he just wanted the truck back, then decided he wanted to. And they let me press charges to for getting in my car. Well he was fucked facing 5 years in prison. Well my bf decided to drop charges bc he has a 5 year old daughter and he doesn't want to be the reason that she can't see her dad because it's not fair to her. And I guess he doesn't drink, he fell off the wagon. Which I agree, I don't want to do that to her either. But I believe there consequences. My dad had to miss 2 years of my life due to his actions, and he knows that. He even said we shouldn't drip them and he knows first hand how hard it is without your kid(I've always been a daddy's girl). And I think of what if he had his kid,if he killed himself, or someone, or was fine but totaled his car,did more damage to my car. Thank god he didn't do any of that but still. And it's just like letting him off the hook. Which he's getting time anyways because he was on supervision and has been in trouble before years ago. I was going to drop my charges to, but I deiced I'm not. Because it's messed up what he did fucked up on stuff or not..But it is what it is with that now. My bf is super pissed at our friends more bc they just invited whoever over when we're pretty welcoming but didn't even know who was here until later. They trashed our place, there was no reason to get in the garage there's a lot of expensive things in there, they all just think it's cool to skinny dip(which I've done with her but it's my house and it was just us) and if they wouldn't of brought him over this wouldn't of happend, let alone just leaving him there, when there's not reason for him to be here himself, or why they didn't ask someone to get him, or let him stay at their place. And they seem more concerned about not looking like the bad guys, but we were the bad guys for charging him. They don't seem to feel that sorry, they never asked if there's still trash around that they need to clean up. I didn't think much about it and was being so nice to her saying it's not your fault, blah blah, until I talked to my bf when I got home last night. Then realized how shitty it was of them and disrespectful. Then she sends me this message!
We(well my bf)let him off the hook for his daughters sake&someone bc it's his best friends brother(he's still pissed at they guy though). But all you're really concerned about fucking CLOTHES when you trashed our house, completely disrespected us, this guy stole his car(friend or not) and ransacked my car! You want me to look in the trash for his clothes?! Are you kidding me! I haven't said anything but I want to freak out on her!
