Not in the slightest. The world is still full of beautiful and amazing things. Shit stuff is always going to happen, it's not something you can control. All you can do is teach your child right from wrong and how to deal with these things, then hopefully they won't grow up to be a bad person adding to the problems.

I'm worried about the world my children are going to grow up in. I fear they will have no work ethic like many kids today and they'll grow up in a soft and cushy world where there is no possible way for them to get hurt and they won't learn to make good decisions on what will hurt them and what won't. I fear they will be put in a bubble and won't get to experience anything

I'm worried that my kids are going to be born in a world where they can't be themselves, or they're going to have to fight to survive ( war, bad environments). I also worry that no matter what I do, they'll end up spoiled, mean, or abusive.

Yes and no...I feel like there's always been terrible things, it just seems more frequent and pronounced because any time something bad happens there's someone with their camera recording it and posting it on social media so people are getting more exposed to these things now more than ever, which makes it overwhelming, but I also believe a lot of bad things have been happening in the past too it just didn't get all the social media attention that things get now. I try not to focus of the bad but i do acknowledge it.
