So me and my LO have had a hard time with brestfeeding since day one but I was determined. We had latching issues later found out he had a tounge time so we used the nipple Shield and moved one well he then developed thrush. I had no idea that the pain I was feeling from that until a little over three weeks ago I took him to the doctors. Once he told us what was going on it explained so much. I was in pain and so was baby they gave him medication witch he then took for like 2 weeks during this time I used a cream and also using formula since I was in so much discomfort. Took him back due to him not Improving and he was given that purple stuff in the mouth. I was told to use the cream and give more formula if needed. Well now we are basically just using formula he is used to the bottle and the flow and I've just basically almost dried up. It's so depressing he's probably my last baby and I really enjoyed the bounding time we had. I enjoyed that I was able to provide him with what he needed. I just don't know how to let the feeling go and just accept that he is now a formula fed baby...
