How many prizes for Baby shower ?

How many prizes did you guys get for your shower ? I'll have about 45 people or less and about 9 games, some will be several rounds. I have around 40 prizes .. Chaps ticks, candles, earrings, nail polishes, perfumes, bracelets.. What did you guys do ? How many did you have provided

Depends on the number of games bigger/harder games =better gifts 
Have a first && second place Small/simple games= 1 winner small simple gift n if there's a double winner the next in lines gets the gift so hopefully everybody can take something home 
(That's how I've been it)

At my shower we had a few games but who ever won picked out a gift from the (gift game) table and I opened them they were all baby stuff, which I thought was odd bc I wanted to give out prizes to make it a little more fun but also didn't have too many people show :/
