Do/Did you ever give your 1-2yr old fast food?

My mom keeps pressuring me to let my kid have fries and nuggets. I'm not a crunchy mom by any means, and I have no problem with the occasional McDonalds run. I'm just not sure I'm ready for my 14 month old to have it. Thoughts?

Once a month my 2 1/2 year old gets a French fry from McDonald's but that's it ... He's always been a tiny little thing and loves fruits and veggies but his one weakness with junk food is French fries lmao he's such a good boy so he earns a little treat here and there :) as long as it isn't multiple times a week I don't see a huge deal with it

Yup; your kid your choice, doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. 
My parents didn't let me eat fast food until 5, by that time I had a healthy appetite for real food, and ff tasted nasty. Children to develop their tastes for life during this time; something to keep in mind.

Just do what you feel is best for your baby. Instead of MacDonald buy nuggets and fries from your grocery store and bake them in the oven that way it will be way healthier. But you don't have to do as your mom or anyone else says. That is you child so  go with how you feel or what you feel is best.

My daughter is 2.5 and is a really healthy eater, but loves McDonald's sausage. Hates the fries, the nuggets, soda - but could eat 3 sausage part of you let her. Lol. We go out got McDonald's breakfast once in a while to indulge, but always pick one with a playground so she can run off some of the calories.😀

Ask your mother what benefits would come from giving your kid that crap. Absolutely none. I'm not crunchy by any means either, but at that age my kiddo still had not eaten any fast food. Even now at almost 4, I won't feed him anything that doesn't look like real food

Occasionally my parents would give my 2 1/2 nephew some chicken nuggets and fries. It's fine it's not like a constant thing lol

My daughter is 2 and a half and has it occasionally.. I can't remember when she got chicken nuggets but she's got a couple fries to naw on around a year old. You are the Mom though so it's up to you!
