Getting pregnant with pcos

So I went to the dr because I've been trying to conceive for 2 years.  She wanted me to do blood work and ultrasounds and wen I went for the results she did my pap. She told me that my ovaries were swollen but my blood work showed they were ok?? Makes no sense to me. My symptoms I've been having are pcos related. I skip periods and wen I do get them the last 3 days. So my next appointment is next week for my pap results and also se gave me metronidazole to regulate my period. It did work anyways my question is how soon after will the give me meds to help me get pregnant??
