birth control?

I was planning on having the Mirena inserted next months, but after reading Online reviews I'm not sure now! I've heard a lot of companits about it being painful and having continued bleeding afterwards anyone have any personal experience from this? And/ or what birth control do you recommend?

I recommend just getting birth control pills. Everything else seems to have bad side effects. I had the depo shot & regret it to this day. I got very depressed and cried for no reason when I was on the shot. Also now that I want to get pregnant, I can't because it messed up my hormones ☹️

After about a year and half of having it, is when I had issues. Both times I had it. It could've just been me though! I loved it before it started acting up

I had a one after my first son. I'll be honest it was not very comfortable to get inserted or removed but it worked great while I had it (5 years)! We decide we would have #2 and was pregnant in less than a month after having it removed. Even tho it was painful getting it I plan on getting another when I go back for my 4 week check up.

I was planing to get Mirena as well, but bcuz of all the bed reviews, that I might be bleeding for a while, I'm scared. But my 2 sister in laws got it and it worked great for them
