Afterwards I was thinking of cutting it collar bone length and back to my original color once I get sick of blonde

I can tell you would totally rock the blonde but I'm not going to lie-dark hair and light eyes is my favorite look.

I think your skin tone is more on the cool side, if you go blonde you might have to change your makeup style a little. But I think you look good either way my vote goes brunette.
