What do you think about proposing to your man? Should you still expect an engagement ring? Do you find it tacky to be the one to propose? How would you do it? Thoughts......

I proposed to my fella (I was impatient).
I found a ring, asked his folks for his hand (only traditional bit for me)... He said yes & I got a ring 2/3 months later...
We've been married 7 years 😍

I asked my husband to marry me. He got the ring, and I used my great grandmother's ring as my wedding ring.

I think it's perfectly fine for a woman to propose to her man. Now I personally won't be doing that since I still believe in fairytales and all that. And I'm also pretty sure my bf would tell me no cause he knows I want him to ask me anyway. When my bf does propose I already know the exact ring I'm getting him and where I am getting

Most men don't particularly like the idea of it, I know my husband wouldn't have liked it he wanted to be the one to do It. It's was the one thing that was actually his to do if that makes sense.

I'm traditional so it's totally not my thing. My husband didn't get an engagement ring when he proposed. But hey, do whatcha want. Have you ever discussed what he thinks of ladies proposing? My proposal was a 'surprise' but we discussed rings and how much to spend beforehand. I was proposed to once before, and there was nothing I did to make him think that it was an ok thing to do, hahaha!
